It’s that time of the year again when our sons, daughters, grandsons, granddaughters, walking down the aisle or across the stage to the tune of Pomp and Circumstance. Finally, being rewarded for their hard work during the past four years.

Whether from high school to their dream college or from college to the real world they feel the sense of accomplishment and joy. Being handed and receiving that diploma or degree, signifies they have met and demonstrated that they have the capability to handle the next stage or season in life.

For everyone that uses milk will continue to show childish behavior

The bible speaks of another graduation as well, it reminds us in Hebrews chapter 5 verses 12-14 that there comes a time when we are to stop drinking milk and move onto eating solid food. For everyone that uses milk will continue to show childish behavior instead of growing into spiritual adulthood.

However, we are called to maturity by putting into practice what we know is true, as such, we need to continue to do the things that are right and the more we do them, the more they become second nature to us, thus helping us to demonstrate spiritual maturity. In other words, graduating from childish behavior into mature people of God. This is what I call living The Higher Life.

God Bless You.
