SO WHY DO WE NEED A SAVIOR

IN THE BEGINNING 

God created the universe, He created the Earth and man and put man in the garden to take dominion over it. It’s not good for man to be alone, so he created woman.

In the book of Genesis, God use to come and spend time with Adam in the cool of the day and fellowship with him.

Everything is yours except this fruit, don’t eat for the day you do, you shall surely die.

Soon after, Adam and Eve did eat with the help of the Devil and death follows shortly after.

They were unceremoniously removed from the Garden of Eden and Cherubim’s was place there with flaming swords to keep them from coming back and to see the Glory of the Lord, because God is too Holy to look upon sin.

Habakkuk 1:13 Your eyes are too pure to look upon sin.

The book of Revelation reminds us that when God is judging the unrighteous, they will be in darkness while He will be in the light.

So you see, from the beginning the penalty for Sin is death and from that day on mankind was in need of a savior.

Romans 5:19 says for by one man’s disobedience many were made sinners, so by one man’s obedience many were made righteous.

In other words, the wages of Sin is death, but the gift of God is Eternal life through Jesus Christ.
